Samsung has brought some new features to its 2020’s Galaxy Watch 3 and the older Watch Active 2. These include two new watch faces, Snore Detection feature, an updated ‘Daily Activity Indicator’, etc.
The two new watch faces are Pro analog and Gradient number. The Snore Detection feature was introduced on Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic and now it has come to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Watch 3. The feature is also supported by the latest Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro.
The ‘Daily Activity Indicator’ will synchronise your Mobile Health data to improve convenience.
While Samsung has brought these features to the Galaxy Watch 3 and Watch Active 2, it has not added any new major feature to its 2018 Galaxy Watch recently and is not expected to now, save for the stability updates. But the Galaxy Watch 3 and Watch Active 2 users still have some cause to be cheerful about.
Samsung is looking to the future with its partnership with Google for WearOS but has promised users of Tizen-powered wearables “at least three years of updates” from the commercial launches of each of the Tizen wearable. The South Korean tech giant keeps on releasing bug fixes and stability improvements via updates to the Galaxy Watch 3, Watch Active 2, and even the Galaxy Watch.
