Vivo is going to debut the Vivo S15 series with an upcoming smartphone — Vivo S15e. This new handset is expected to be released at a launch event scheduled for April 25 in China along with the Vivo X80 series. According to a report by GSMArena, the full specs list of Vivo S15e has been released and the new device is likely to feature mid-level specifications. The report adds that the smartphone will be powered by a Samsung Exynos processor.
The Chinese smartphone maker has not revealed when this device will be released in India but the rumours suggest that it will arrive in the country in a few months.
Vivo S15e expected specifications
The report suggests that the Vivo S15e smartphone is expected to sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The device may get a water-drop notch at the top of the display that will house the front camera. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone is supposed to be powered by a Samsung Exynos 1080 processor backed with up to 8GB RAM and 256 GB. However, the handset might be available in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
The Vivo S15e is expected to house a triple rear camera setup that includes — a 50MP primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The handset will sport a 16MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The handset will pack a 4700mAh battery with 66W super-fast charging support. The company claims that the fast charging tech can completely charge the device in an hour. For security, the smartphone is likely to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and a face unlock feature. Vivo S15e is expected to be available in three different colour options — Black, Peach, and Blue.
