The much-anticipated budget 5G handset from Samsung, the Galaxy A13 5G, made its debut in the United States this week. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is the cheapest ever 5G smartphone Samsung has released till now. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G comes with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz, Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset, 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Samsung also announced the availability of the Galaxy A03s in the United States. The Galaxy A03s was announced earlier this year in August.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be available for purchase in the US for USD 249.99 (around Rs 18,745) online through AT&T starting December 3rd. Customers can also get the Galaxy A13 5G for USD 6.95 per month on a three-year instalment plan from AT&T. The mobile is expected to go on sale via T-Mobile in January.
The Galaxy A03s will be on sale in the United States in January for USD 159. The smartphone will be available to purchase from AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Samsung.com. The Galaxy A03s currently retails for Rs 10,999 in India.
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and v-shaped notch. Under the hood, the Galaxy A13 5G is powered by the Mediatek 700 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card. The smartphone boasts a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. The Galaxy A13 5G runs OneUI 3.0 on top of Android 11.
On the optics front, the Galaxy A13 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras. On the front, it gets a 5MP camera housed inside the v-shaped notch. Connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G Sub 6 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, etc.
As of now, there’s no word on the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G launch date in India yet.
