The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G has been in the works and its details have surfaced from time to time. Looks like the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G has now appeared on Geekbench sporting a Dimensity 700 chipset under the hood. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will succeed the Galaxy A12 and is likely to be the cheapest 5G capable offering from the Korean manufacturer. We had earlier reported that the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery and will get a 50MP camera sensor. The upcoming Samsung phone carries the model number SM-A136U and runs Android 11, according to Geekbench.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC (ARM MT6833V) from Qualcomm clocked at 2.0GHz and will be coupled with 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G’s Geekbench score turns out to be 465 points for single-core and 1,106 points for multi-core.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 will succeed the Galaxy A12. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A12 was updated in August and got a mid-life boost with the introduction of Samsung’s own Exynos 850 SoC. It was paired alongside 4GB or 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The device is available in 3 colour options  Black, Blue, and White.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 gets a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display with a waterdrop notch housing the 8MP front camera. The quad cameras at the back play host to a 48MP primary sensor (f/2.0), a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro unit. The Samsung Galaxy A12 gets its power from an onboard 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast-charging and weighs in at 205 grams. It gets support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on One UI based on Android 11.
