Samsung Galaxy A22 5G receives a price drop: New price, specs and more – Times of India

Samsung recently slashed the price of its smartwatch Galaxy Watch 4. Now, another Samsung device has received a price drop. The last year launched Galaxy A22 5G smartphone has received a price drop in India. The smartphone comes in two variants and both of them have got a price cut of Rs 2,000.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A22 in two variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively. After the price drop, customers can purchase the 6GB version at Rs 17,999 and the 8GB variant at Rs 19,999. The smartphone can be purchased in black and light blue colour options.

Powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone packs 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI. The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera with 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie camera.
The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and houses a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
