Samsung Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G notebooks have been officially announced. This comes after the South Korean giant had introduced the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 in April. These are the company’s latest budget offerings that come with Windows 10 OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, 5G connectivity, and Full HD TFT display. The notebooks offer a slim and lightweight design with a 180-degree folding hinge that allows it to adapt to the desired watching angle, Dolby Atmos audio, and are also military-grade durable. There’s Microsoft ‘Your Phone’ support that allows you to link Android devices to answer texts, make calls, and even mirror Android apps. It has Samsung’s SmartThings support to control home lighting or temperature or track your Galaxy phone. 

Samsung Galaxy Book Go, Galaxy Book Go 5G prices

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go price starts at USD 349 (approx Rs 25,500) for the base model and will be available this month in select markets. While the Galaxy Book Go 5G will be available later this year. The notebooks will be available in silver colour option.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go sports a 14-inch FHD TFT display with 1920 X 1080 pixels resolution. The 4G model is powered by a 2.55GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 CPU with Adreno 618 GPU, while the 5G model ships with the Qualcomm 8cx Gen 2 CPU with Adreno GPU. The notebook packs up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB of eUFS storage, and runs Windows 10 Home/Pro OS out of the box. The Samsung Galaxy Book Go has a 720p HD camera, stereo speakers (1.5WX2), Dolby Atmos, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go measures 323.9 x 224.8 x 14.9mm and weighs 1.38kgs. Connectivity options include 5G/4G LTE through nano-SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth V5.1, two USB Type-C ports, and a single USB 2.0 port. It has a 42.3Wh battery with 25W fast-charging support. The standard Galaxy Book Go’s battery is claimed to last up to 18h battery life.
