Samsung Galaxy M53 5G storage, colours leaked before India launch: expected price, specifications

As per the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G will come in two storage configurations with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The two storage options are slated to be 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Further, the tipster suggests that the smartphone be made available in two colours – Green and Blue. The Indian variant of the Galaxy M53 5G is expected to have the same specifications as the one launched in Vietnam. The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G comes with a 120Hz sAMOLED display, Dimensity 900 SoC, 5,000mAH battery and without a charger inside the box.

Samsung Galaxy M53 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display has a centred punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Under the hood, Mediatek’s Dimensity 900 SoC powers the Galaxy M53 5G. The chipset comes paired with up to 8GB RAM and 25GB of internal memory. 

The smartphone boasts a 5,000mAH battery with support for 25W fast charging. Like a few other recent mid-range Samsung smartphones, the Galaxy M53 5G also misses out on the charging adapter, meaning customers will have to buy the charger separately. The Galaxy M53 5G runs Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box, and it also supports more than 10 5G bands.

Turning the smartphone around, there is a quad-camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro and depth sensor pair. The primary 108MP sensor comes with OIS. The smartphone has a 32MP camera housed inside the centred punch-hole cutout on the front.

Samsung Galaxy M53 5G expected price in India

The Galaxy M53 5G is expected to be priced around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 in India. Last year, Samsung had announced the Galaxy M52 5G in India at a starting price of Rs. 29,999.
