Samsung Galaxy S21 FE to be powered by Snapdragon 888; Google Play Console listing reveals | Digit
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has reportedly been spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing some key specifications of the upcoming ‘Fan Edition’ phone. The listing is for the 6GB RAM variant and confirms Snapdragon 888 chipset as was earlier hinted by Geekbench results.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will allegedly include a 6.4-inch Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The image on the Google Play Console page shows a flat-screen with an Infinity-O notch and reasonably narrow bezels on all sides.
3D renders that leaked recently showcased the same design for the back as on other Galaxy S21 series phones, where the protruding camera module blends into the side frame. This time, however, Samsung could be using a single colour tone for the back, and we are hoping that would look more elegant.

The triple-cameras setup on the rear is rumoured to include a 32MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide snapper, and an 8MP telephoto camera.
Since even the base Galaxy S21 comes with a plastic back, the Galaxy S21 FE isn’t likely to use glass for the back either. The USB Type-C port and speaker grill are present at the bottom, and the fingerprint sensor is likely to be positioned underneath the screen. Other reports claim a 4500mAh battery housed within the phone.
Samsung’s FE models aim to make the right compromises to drag down the flagship experience to a more accessible price point where more consumers can participate. Samsung recently launched its foldable flagships for the year and the Galaxy S21 FE should be the last of flagship phones from the brand for the current year.
