Another popular tipster Dohyun Kim also backed this new leak claiming it to be true. It is also expected that Samsung may use its in-house Exynos chipset in the smartphone. Samsung may have reduced Galaxy A23 5G by 70%
A recent online report claims that Samsung was initially planning to ship 12.6 million units of the Galaxy A23 5G in 2022. But the smartphone maker has now reportedly revised that figure and lowered it to just less than four million. This means that Samsung has likely reduced its Galaxy A23 5G smartphone shipments by 70%. The report adds that Samsung has switched suppliers to develop the camera sensors for this device. This caused some problems with the camera sensor’s development for the company.
The report adds that the company is planning to ship 5 million units of the Galaxy A23 5G smartphone in 2023 which is better than this year’s figures. However, Samsung’s 2023 target also falls way behind its initial 12 million shipment target.
