Samsung’s love for the purple colour is not hidden. The company has introduced some beautiful shades of purple in the past with the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S9. There was a purple coloured BTS Edition of Galaxy S20+. Then, we got a purple shade of the S21 series, namely Phantom Violet and the Lavender Z Flip 3. Now, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S22 in all-new Bora Purple shade.
The Bora Purple shade has “pastel and neutral tones,” the word ‘Bora,’ here literally translates to purple in Korean. However, the S22 series was already available in a purple shade but the availability was limited, only through Samsung’s online store. Meanwhile, the new Bora Purple shade will be available widely.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro might also come in the new Bora Purple shade
The Galaxy S22 will not be the only device to don this new shade, as new Galaxy devices will be coming later this year in the Bora Purple colour. Samsung seems to be referring to the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. We have already seen the renders of these two devices in the purple shade, so there is not much of a surprise left.
The Purple Bora shade of the Galaxy S22 will be available for purchase starting August 10, the same day as the Galaxy Unpacked event. The new shade will be available at $799 (Rs 63,827). There is no exact word on the availability of the Bora Purple Galaxy S22 in India. But, we can expect it to be available on the same day in India also.
