Samsung is all set to launch its newest flagship series, Samsung Galaxy S22 Series in late January or early February next year. The series is tipped to have 3 variants, but the major focus will be on the Galaxy S22 Ultra model of the smartphone.

With new leaks have been pouring in daily about the design, specs, color variants of the Ultra variant, it is difficult to remember what you read 2 weeks ago. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Design

There are plenty of leaked renders that show how the S22 Ultra will look like. Tipster OnLeaks recently revealed the dummy units of the S22 series in a video that showcased S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. Although there’s hardly any design change on S22 and S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra can be seen with major design changes.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra can be seen with a camera module that sits flush with the rear panel in the video. There are 5 cameras on the rear, but they aren’t inside any module. It has a dedicated S pen slot, a curved display, and a squared off-frame.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Color Variants

A UK retailer recently listed the accessories for Galaxy S22 Ultra which includes cover cases. S-pen can also be seen in Black, Dark Red, Green, and White colors. This indicates that these could be the 4 color variants for upcoming S22 Devices. The price of the S-pen is listed at EUR 33.99 (Rs. 2900 approx.)

LetsGoDigital has also shared some images of the alleged Galaxy S22 Ultra variant in a Pink hue color variant. This color model might be named Rose Gold. Red and Green variants have already been confirmed via various leaks and images.  

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra expected specs

Reports claim that Samsung will ship S22 Ultra with different chipsets for different regions. We may see Exynos 2200 SoC in some regions, while others might receive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Samsung is also working on One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 for Samsung Galaxy S22 Series and the new software is said to be available on the day of the S22 series launch. The device is expected to have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display size and a 5000mAh battery.

Camera details have also surfaced and those reports claim that S22 Ultra will carry forward the 108MP primary camera just like S21 Ultra, but this time company will use the lens to offer micro-lens-like functionality. The feature will be activated while shooting in 108MP mode and be called “Digital Enhancer”. The feature will be exclusive to Galaxy S22 Ultra at the time of the launch but will extend to other variants too down the line.

Speculations are rife that Samsung is planning to launch Galaxy S22 Ultra in January 2022 and the launch date is rumored to be January 28. Accessories being listed on a UK site also hints at an imminent launch. An emotional video has been shared by Samsung in which they have confirmed that it intends to launch quite a lot early next year.

Although there is no news about the price of S22 Ultra in India, if we observe the previous trends of the company, then the price will be hiked for sure. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra was priced at Rs. 92,999 while Galaxy S21 Ultra was bumped up to Rs. 1,05,999. Considering this, Galaxy S22 Ultra might be priced around Rs. 1,5,999 in India.
