Samsung Galaxy S23 FE chipset, RAM revealed on Geekbench

  • The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE bears the model number SM-S711B. The listing shows the phone will run on Android 13 OS and pack 8GB of RAM but there could be other choices at launch.
  • The motherboard section mentions s5e9925, which is associated with the Exynos 2200 SoC with a peak clock speed of 2.80GHz. This is an in-house 1.5-year-old chipset from Samsung.
  • This is surprising, especially considering the standard Galaxy S23 models feature only the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset worldwide.
  • Rumours claim that Samsung is launching the S23 FE with the Exynos 2200 in a move to push and clear the excess stock of the SoC.
  • Earlier, the handset has already appeared on China’s 3C certification website and the complete design was revealed via leaked renders.
