Samsung Galaxy S23 FE launch imminent, fast charging revealed via 3C

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE spotted on 3C certification website

The China Compulsory Certificate or 3C is a mandatory certification required for products that can be exported to China. The 3C listing shows a Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-S7110 which is believed to be the Galaxy S23 FE. It confirms that the smartphone will have 5G support, and come with 25W fast charging support. The listing also shows that Samsung won’t bundle the phone with a charging adaptor, a norm it’s been following for its flagship phones.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE design

Alleged renders of the Galaxy S23 FE leaked earlier this week. The Galaxy S23 FE looks much like the flagship Galaxy S23 in terms of design. It has a punch-hole display with the selfie camera placed at the top centre. The volume rocker and power button are on the right side of the phone. The USB Type-C port, SIM tray section, and primary microphone are at the bottom panel.

The Galaxy S23 FE will come with triple rear cameras according to the leaked renders. The vertically placed camera sensors look the same as the Galaxy S23. The phone also comes in white but we might see multiple colour options like Samsung usually does for its FE models.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE specifications

  • Display: Galaxy S23 FE is expected to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display.
  • Processor: This time Samsung is expected to launch only Exynos-powered models for the Galaxy S23 FE, and the chipset could be the Exynos 2200.
  • Cameras: The triple camera setup could include a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies, the Galaxy S23 FE could house a 12MP front camera.
  • RAM and storage: The Galaxy S23 FE could launch in two variants of 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
  • Battery: Lastly, it could pack a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
