Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Launched in India With Ultra, Plus and Regular; All You Need to Know Including Specs, Features, Price
South Korea smartphone maker, Samsung has just launched its latest flagship lineup of the Galaxy S23 series. As part of the series, the company has launched three models, including the S23, S23 Plus and the S23 Ultra. Like the recent iterations, the company has brought multiple improvements to the lineup. Going through the specifications, Samsung has focused on gaming, camera, and sustainability aspect of the S23 series.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra supports hardware ray-tracing to smartphones
Beyond the “Custom” version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the company has added up to 2.7x larger vapor chamber in the Ultra. This will ensure that the flagship smartphone offers sustained (and better) CPU and GPU performance. However, the improved version of the processor and a larger vapor chamber are not the start of the show. Instead, the impressive and surprising primary feature is the support for real-time ray-tracing hardware.
Samsung has also added A-powered “adaptive performance” feature to the smartphone lineup. This will allow the smartphone to detect the needs of the game and adjust performance accordingly. Ultra also brings Adaptive Vision Booster to the mix with up to 50,000 Lux peak brightness. This allows the smartphone to reduce or increase screen brightness according to the needs of the scenario.
Camera and Sustainability improvements in the Galaxy S23 lineup
Besides gaming, the S23 Ultra also brings improvements to the camera department with a new 200MP ISO Cell HP2 camera sensor. This new sensor enables the smartphone to capture images with better clarity with sharper and more stable video in low light conditions. Samsung has also added support for up to 50MP images in the “Expert Raw” mode with 16-bit color space support for selfies. Other camera features include Astrophoto mode, Multi-Exposure model and Astro Hyperlapse mode to capture Star Trail Time Lapses.
Moving to the sustainability aspect, the smartphone series will use up to 2x recycled materials ranging from Recycled Glass, Aluminum, Natural Dye for color and more. Samsung has also redesigned the Edge design of the smartphone to improve the grip on the smartphone. Other important upgrades include Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for better durability. In all this, the design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is similar the outgoing S22 Ultra.
