Galaxy S23 series is getting July update in India
According to the report, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones have started receiving the July 2023 update. The latest update that’s rolling out to these phones carry firmware version S91xBXXS3AWF9. And, it has a download size of around 431MB.
Galaxy S23 July update brings security update
The July 2023 update for Galaxy S23 series does not include any new features or changes. The update only brings the latest Android security patch and bug fixes that were listed in the previous version. Report mentions that some users have said that the animations have become smoother than before post the update.
Samsung may expand the update to more regions
The update has reached to Indian users and it is expected that the update may get expanded to more regions in coming days. However, there’s no official words provided by Samsung on this.
How to install July 2023 update
Once the update is available for your device, you’ll receive a notification. Tap on the notification to open the Software update page. There’s a check if the update is available. If it is, tap on the Download button and wait for it to download completely. Once done, restart the phone to complete the update process.
If you haven’t received the notification, then head to Settings → Software update → Check for updates manually.
