Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, new Galaxy Tab Ultra launch teased by company

The two devices in question could be the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and probably a new Samsung Galaxy Tab Ultra tablet, if we go by last year’s trends, where we saw the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Tab S8 Ultra. The top executive has highlighted improvements to the smartphone camera system and tells us that the upcoming two new devices will “set the new premium standard for innovation.”

For Samsung, Ultra means big. Ultra means bold. Ultra means the best of the best in performance. To take everyday experiences further, we redefine the essentials. The upcoming Galaxy is all about camera, performance and sustainability. That’s why our pro-grade camera system is getting smarter,” said the blog post.

Furthermore, Roh also vows the performance getting better and connectivity getting more seamless. While Samsung hasn’t explicitly mentioned the hardware specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is rumoured to come with a new 200MP sensor, likely the ISOCELL HP2 which the Korean giant recently unveiled. Leaks also suggest a brighter display, a second periscope telephoto lens and Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC.

For those not in the know, Samsung killed the Note lineup and improved the Ultra model in the S-series to replace it. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has S Pen integration and most of the Note-series features. This makes sense for a Galaxy Book with the Ultra name to carry the stylus support. We will know more details when the products will debut shortly at the Unpacked event early next month. Stay tuned.
