Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series surface online ahead of official launch – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Samsung is all set to expand its flagship Android tablet lineup. The company is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S8+ and the vanilla Galaxy Tab S8.
Now ahead of the launch, the official looking renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 models have surfaced online. The renders leaked online shows the design and some specifications of the upcoming tablets. Out of the three, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is said to be the most expensive of the series and is said to house two selfie cameras.
As per the renders shared by Evan Blass, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series is said to house displays surrounded by thin bezels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is said to have the slimmest bezels and two front-facing cameras. The power button and volume rockers are expected to be placed on the top edge of the device. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and the Galaxy Tab S8 are said to have a similar design. The leaked renders also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus is expected to feature two selfie cameras as well.
The leak also suggests that the display of Galaxy Tab S8 series will feature displays with 120Hz refresh rate. Recently, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was spotted on online benchmarking website Geekbench with model number SM-X906N.
The Android tablet is said to feature a 14.6-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet is said to come in two storage options — 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 512GB. The Galaxy Ultra variant of the tablet is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup which consists of a 13MP main sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. The device is expected to come with a dual selfie camera with 8MP main and 5MP secondary sensor. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is expected to pack a 12000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Earlier online reports suggest that Samsung might launch the Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets in the third quarter of 2021.
