Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 starts receiving October 2021 Android security patch globally – Times of India
Samsung has started rolling out October 2021 Android security patch for Galaxy Z Flip 3 globally. The update comes a week after it was released for the users in the US. It is now available for international models of the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
The software update brings version F711BXXU2AUJ7 to the device. Along with the Android security patch, the update brings fixes for over 60 privacy and security-related issues. It also comes with fixes for general bugs and improvements to the phone’s stability.
It is expected to roll out to all users in the coming week. Those interested can check for the update via Settings> Software update> Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 was launched in August this year. It offers a cover screen of 1.9-inch and it’s a Super AMOLED panel. When unfolded, the phone has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED main display with 120Hz refresh rate.
At its Galaxy Unpacked event Part 2, the company announced the Bespoke edition of Galaxy Z Flip 3. Users will be able to customise the clamshell foldable phone by choosing between two frame tones (black or silver) and five front and back panel hues (blue, yellow, pink, white or black). Bespoke Edition of Galaxy Z Flip 3 will feature matching wallpaper and cover screen.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with IPX8 water resistance design. The handset is protected by Corning Gorilla GLass Victus. It is equipped with a 12MP wide sensor with F1.8 aperture along with a 12MP ultrawide sensor with F2.2 aperture.
For selfies, the phone has a 10MP selfie camera with F2.4 aperture. The smartphone is powered by a 5nm 64-bit octa-core chipset with 8GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB. It is powered by a 3300mAh battery.
