Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4 starts receiving stable Android 13 update – Times of India
Samsung has started rolling out a stable Android 13 update for its foldable smartphones — Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. The latest OS update also brings the new One UI 5.0 to foldable smartphones.
According to a report by Sammobile, both Samsung smartphones have started receiving the Android 13 update in South Korea. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 update comes with firmware version F721NKSU1BVK5, while this is the F936NKSU1BVK5 firmware version of Galaxy Z Fold 4. Along with the Android 13 update, both smartphones are also receiving security patches for the month of November 2022. The report adds that the update also fixes close to four dozen security vulnerabilities.
The report also states that the smartphone maker will soon start rolling out the update in other countries in the coming days.
With the latest update, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 users will be able to experience the new One UI 5.0 features. With One UI 5.0 users will be able to customise their smartphone experience, including an expanded set of colour options for a more tailored look. The new UI allows users to get up to 16 preset colour themes based on their wallpaper and 12 more colour options for their home screens, icons and quick panels for a look and feel suited to their style.
The new UI offers reorganised menus that provide easy access to all ringtone volumes and vibration intensities. With One UI 5, a new dashboard lets users view the security status of their phone, shows whether there are security issues and recommends ways to fix them.
