Samsung introduces the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G at CES 2023  | Digit

Samsung has announced a new budget phone, the Galaxy A14 5G. Along with TVs, refrigerators and accessories, Samsung launched the Galaxy A14 5G during CES 2023 in Las Vegas. The phone is likely to be rolled out in the European market by April and soon in the US market. However, there is no news of the Samsung Galaxy A14 launching in India yet.

  • The Samsung Galaxy A14 has a triple camera setup on the back and a water drop notch in front. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
  • The Samsung Galaxy A14 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and it will come with the storage option of 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB by using the memory card. It runs on Android 13-based One UI 5.0.
  • It features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution with 90Hz refresh rate support. 
  • The camera of the A14 is pretty much the same in comparison with the A13 but Samsung has upgraded the selfie shooter in this one. It has a 50-megapixel primary along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The selfie shooter has been upgraded to 13-megapixel from 5-megapixel.
  • The Samsung Galaxy A14 is packed with a 5000mAH battery with 15W of fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G price and availability 

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be in the European market by April at a price of €229 which makes it Rs 20,000 for India but there is no further information on when the A14 is going to be available in India. The Samsung Galaxy A14 will be available in the US market soon as well.
