Samsung One Click Band: Samsung introduces new band connector and fabric band for Galaxy Watch 6 series – Times of India

Samsung has launched its latest Galaxy Watch 6 series of smartwatches in India. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series consists of two smartwatches — Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The company is bringing back its famous rotating bezel functionality to the smartwatch with the launch of Galaxy 6 Classic. Along with this, Samsung has also introduced a new band connector for the smartwatches and a fabric band for the Galaxy Watch models.

As reported by 9to5Google, Samsung has introduced a new ‘One-Click’ band mechanism for the Galaxy Watch bands. The new One-Click mechanism allows the watch bands to connect with the smartwatch without the use of any tool. Also, the button has replaced the usual pin present in the watch bands.
“This new system notably doesn’t replace a traditional spring pin. You can still connect any 20 mm or 22 mm band (depending on the model) to a Galaxy Watch. Pushing the button makes it easy to remove the existing band,” mentions the report.

Samsung has also confirmed that the bands utilising the new connector system will maintain backward compatibility with previous Galaxy Watch models, namely Watch 4 and Watch 5.
Additionally, the company will also be introducing a fresh band option for Watch 6, which will be fully compatible with Watch 4 and 5 as well.
