samsung: Samsung Galaxy A04s listed on Geekbench, may feature Exynos 850 chipset – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy A03s, a budget-friendly offering from the company, was released in India in August 2021. The South Korean tech giant is now planning to expand the lineup with the Samsung Galaxy A04s affordable handset as it has appeared on the Geekbench listing. According to a GSMArena report, the upcoming handset was listed on the benchmarking website with the model number SM-A047F.
The Galaxy A04s device managed a 152-point single-core and a 585-point multi-core performance. The Geekbench listing has also revealed that the upcoming device is expected to be powered by the Exynos 850 chipset. Samsung’s proprietary mobile processor can be found on other affordable phones from the company including — the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy M13.

The report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A04s smartphone is likely to sport a 6.5” HD+ LCD panel that will support a 60Hz refresh rate. Previously, the device was leaked in renders that showcased a redesigned rear camera island and a similar V-shaped notch on the front, like its predecessor.
The upcoming handset is expected to be powered by the Exynos 850 chipset which will be backed with up to 3GB of RAM. As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy A04s is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery unit and might run on One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
