samsung: Samsung set to hold its next big event later this month – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Earlier this month, Samsung launched its Galaxy S22 series of smartphones at the company’s first major event of the year. Now, it appears that Samsung is all set to announce new products at the end of this month. Samsung has announced that it will hold another launch event later this month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.
The company has scheduled an event for February 27. The event will start at 7 pm CET (11.30 pm IST) and it will be live-streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel.
In a statement, Samsung said, “Samsung Electronics is once again redefining the future of how we work and how we learn. Join the Samsung Galaxy Mobile World Congress (MWC) Event 2022 on February 27 to see how Samsung is leading the connected experience. The event will be streamed on Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 7:00 p.m. CET.”
Along with this, the company has also shared an animated teaser that shows off a laptop and other devices such as tablets, phones and watches. It is expected that Samsung might launch its new laptops at the event. The company is rumoured to unveil the new edition of its Galaxy Book Pro lineup.
Meanwhile, Samsung will launch its latest flagship smartphone series in India today (February 17). The company will unveil the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 in the country via a virtual event. Samsung has scheduled the event for 12:30 pm. It will be live-streamed across the company’s social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. At the event, Samsung will announce the price and offers on the new Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 are already up for pre-orders in the country. Samsung says that consumers who have pre-reserved the new phones will be eligible for all pre-booking offers along with a free Galaxy SmartTag.
