Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S22 Diablo Immortal Edition smartphone in South Korea to celebrate the launch of the game on mobile devices. The South Korean tech giant has already collaborated with multiple other brands to launch limited-edition variants of its smartphones, smartwatches and earbuds. LG Uplus, a South Korean cellular network carrier is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 Diablo Immortal Edition in the country. The company has decided to sell just 100 units of the limited-edition smartphone through a lottery system on its website. The company is said to be planning to collaborate with Blizzard to launch more limited-edition products in the future which will be targeted toward the upcoming generation and gamers.

Samsung has announced that the lottery for the phone will be held at 7 pm on June 10 in South Korea. However, the company has not revealed the pricing of this limited-edition device. The smartphone comes with Diablo Immortal-themed accessories that include — a specially designed leather mouse pad, a smartphone case, a wireless charging pad, a Diablo Immortal map and a Blizzard gift card.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 series earlier this year and the upcoming limited edition is also expected to come with the same specs and features as the original device. Samsung Galaxy S22 sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and 1300 nits peak brightness.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor backed with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. On the camera front, the handset boasts a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support, a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS support and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The device also features a 10MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Samsung Galaxy S22 packs a 3700mAh battery unit that supports 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging and 4.5W wireless reverse charging. The device runs on One UI 4.1 which is based on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
