Samsung’s most-expensive folding phone gets a price cut in India: New price and more – Times of India

Samsung recently announced the date for its biggest Galaxy Unpacked event. The tech giant confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 10, where the company is expected to launch the next-generation of its foldable smartphones.
Now, ahead of the new launch, the smartphone maker has slashed the price of its most-expensive Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G smartphone. Launched last year in August, the smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 10,000. The smartphone comes in two variants and both of them have got a price cut.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G: New price
Samsung launched two variants of Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G — 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB priced at Rs 1,49,999 and Rs 1,57, 999 respectively. After the price cut, customers can purchase the 256GB variant at Rs 1,39,999, while the 512GB version is selling at Rs 1, 47,999.
Customers can purchase the smartphone in Phantom Black, Phantom Green and Phantom Silver colour options. The new prices are also reflecting on the official Samsung website.
The company is also giving some offers to the buyers. The customers interested in purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G can avail no-cost EMI option. Along with this, the customers who will purchase the foldable smartphone can also get the Galaxy Watch at Rs 2,999.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED cover display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also houses a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED main display with 120Hz refresh rate.
The foldable smartphone comes with a total of five cameras– three at the back, one underneath the main display and one on the cover display. The triple rear camera module includes a 12MP ultrawide sensor with F2.2 aperture, 12MP dual pixel autofocus primary sensor with F1.8 aperture, OIS and another 12MP telephoto sensor with F2.4 aperture and OIS. There’s 2X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom along with HDR10+ video recording.
When you fold the device, you will get a selfie camera on the cover display with 10MP sensor and F2.2 aperture. The under display camera has a 4MP sensor and an aperture of F1.8.
It is powered by a 5nm 64-bit octa-core chipset along with 12GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB. It runs Android 11 operating system and is powered by a 4400mAh battery.
