Samsung’s new budget Android phone arrives and you’re going to love its price
If you’re looking for a wallet-busting new phone, there are no shortage of options. For example, Apple just launched its feature-packed new iPhone 13 Pro range, while Samsung continues to push the boundaries with its folding flagship phones. Both of these handsets, the top-tier Galaxy Z Fold3 and iPhone 13 Pro Max, will set you back well over £1,500!
That’s a lot of money for a smartphone, but thankfully, there is now a much cheaper way to get a feature-packed handset in your pocket. Samsung announced its new A03s earlier this month, with this budget call maker getting a swathe of features for under £140.
For that incredibly reasonable price – you could buy eleven Galaxy A03s for the same price as a single iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB of built-in storage! – you’ll be treated to a large edge-to-edge 6.5-inch Infinity-V display, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a speedy processor.
On the rear case, there’s a triple snapper which includes a 13MP Main Camera, a 2MP Refined Macro Camera for close up shots and a 2MP Depth lens to add some DSLR-style focus to your snaps. There’s even a gigantic 5,000mAh battery tucked inside, which should easily last a day and beyond.

Of course, there’s no aluminium design, support for super-fast 5G mobile data download speeds, or wireless charging, however, the A03 certainly appears to offer some serious value for money.
However, if those don’t seem like the sort of features you’d miss, there are a number of UK retailers have started selling this device with some even offering a way to pay for it in instalments.
Giffgaff will let you pay for the A03s over two years with just £5.48 per month coming out of your bank account. Or you can buy directly from Samsung with the Korean technology firm wanting £139 for this phone which is available in Blue or Black with 32GB of storage.
Of course, these deals don’t come with any calls, texts or data but most networks now offer SIM deals for around £5 per month. You can check out all the best deals here.
