During the live broadcast on ESPN, Wembanyama expressed his overwhelming joy, stating, “This is a dream come true for me. I’ve imagined this moment my entire life, and hearing those words from Adam Silver made me emotional.”
Standing at an impressive 7 feet 4 inches, Wembanyama is expected to have an immediate impact in the NBA. His versatile skill-set encompasses exceptional court vision, a reliable outside shot, and dominance in the paint.
In his previous season with the Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92, Wembanyama showcased his talents, averaging 20.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.5 assists per game across 44 appearances.
