Sand Land: Bandai Namco Reveals New Gameplay Trailer at Anime Expo 2023

Summer Game Fest 2023 brought us a wide range of game announcements, one of which is Sand Land by Dragon Ball Z creator Akira Toriyama. The game has generated a lot of hype, as the manga is set to receive an anime film adaptation that is scheduled for release in Japan in the latter half of 2023.

Another contributing factor to the hype surrounding the game is the gameplay trailers that Bandai Namco has released thus far. These trailers have provided a glimpse of the Dragon Ball Z-esque combat that will be featured in the game, as well as a tantalising glimpse of intense vehicular combat, which has sparked intrigue among those interested.

As highlighted by NicheGamer, Bandai Namco’s panel at the Anime Expo 2023 unveiled additional details about Sand Land through a new gameplay trailer. This trailer showcased how two vehicles from the manga, namely the Tank and Jump-Bot, will be incorporated into the game.

Furthermore, the event also unveiled additional information, including demo dates, for Sand Land. The game is scheduled to have its first playable demo during San Diego Comic Con, which is set to take place on July 20.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Sand Land is an action RPG that follows the story of Beelzebub, Sheriff Rao, Fiend Prince, and Demon Thief as they embark on a quest to discover the fabled Legendary Spring. While an official release date for Sand Land has not yet been announced, the game is being developed for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 platforms.
