SBI down: Users take to Twitter to complain, no official statement yet
SBI down: what users and the bank have said
Issues on the digital banking services of India’s largest public sector bank seemingly began from Saturday, April 1st, when SBI posted on its official Twitter handle that services of online banking, mobile banking and UPI will be unavailable from between 1:30PM and 4:45PM on the day. Most services were expected to return to normal after this.
However, issues have continued to persist, and at the time of reporting, over 200 user reports were shown as live on website outage tracker, Down Detector.

“State Bank of India all the online services are down since 31st March. Unable to do any UPI, Yono (SBI’s mobile banking service) or internet banking transaction. What they are doing. Not able to transfer my salary even for groceries,” [sic] one user write on Twitter at 2:40PM on April 3rd.
Numerous other news outlets have also highlighted these issues, with an ET Now report from earlier today claiming that users have been facing issues since Thursday, March 30th.
However, there have been no indications of what the issues are with the SBI down time, and there has been no confirmation or a statement from SBI in terms of when services are expected to return to normalcy.
