Some Poco F3 GT users may face heating issues, admits company – Times of India

Some users of the newly launched Poco F3 GT may witness heating issues with their smartphone while using it, especially during gaming. Poco has acknowledged it and mentioned that a very small set of Poco F3 GT units may be facing heating issues. Few Poco F3 GT users took to Twitter to complain about the same and most likely those users may be on MIUI 12.5.4.0.RKJINXM.
If you are facing heating issues while charging the Poco F3 GT or gaming, then you can expect a fix from Poco. The heating issue may be due to some software glitch and it is expected that Poco will solve it. Having said that, Poco hasn’t talked about a tentative solution or timeline for fixing the issue.
The Poco F3 GT was recently launched in India. The smartphone comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and comes with a starting price of Rs 26,999. Poco F3 GT comes in three variants. The base model comes with 6GB+128GB and is priced at Rs 26,999. Another variant has 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. It is priced at Rs 28,999.
For gamers, Poco F3 GT offers a Game Turbo mode and is equipped with GT Wi-Fi gaming antenna and three independent mics. The smartphone boasts of features like GT switches, Maglev triggers and tactical RGB light on the rear side.
The handset is equipped with a 6.67-inch Turbo AMOLED screen with 120Hz Reality flow refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The phone’s display boasts of 100% DCI-P3 and comes with features like DC Dimming and HDR 10+ support. Poco F3 GT features a chip-on-panel design resulting in a smaller bezel on the bottom chin.
