Sony WF-1000XM4 launched with high-resolution audio support, quick attention mode and other features at Rs 19,990 – Times of India

Sony WF-1000XM4 are now official in India. The device is the company’s latest addition to its truly wireless earbuds category. The new earbuds come with a 6mm driver unit with a 20% increase in magnet volume and are equipped with noise cancelling capabilities.

Sony WF-1000XM4 is priced at Rs 19,990. They will be available across Sony retailstores, www.ShopatSC.com portal, major electronic stores and other e-commerce website from January 16. Silver and black are the colour options of the device.

Sony WF-1000XM4 runs on the Integrated Processor V1 that is claimed to take noise cancellation performance of Sony’s acclaimed QN1e chip even higher. It features dual noise sensor microphones for noise cancellation. The device comes with noise isolation earbud tips which are claimed to offer an improved fit.
The WF-1000XM4 supports high-resolution audio with LDAC codec processing and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) Extreme. The device comes with precise voice pickup technology to offer a comfortable hands-free calling experience.
Equipped with 360 Reality Audio, the WF-1000XM4 earbuds are said to deliver an immersive audio experience. The earbuds are compatible with both Android smartphones and iPhones.
The new earbuds come with Speak-to-Chat feature. As soon as the user speaks to someone, Speak-to-Chat automatically pauses the music and lets in ambient sound so you can conduct a conversation. There is also a Quick Attention Mode to listen to an announcement or say something briefly. Users need to simply place a finger over the earbud to decrease the volume instantly and let ambient sound in.
The WF-1000XM4 also features Adaptive Sound Control, a smart feature that senses where the user is and what he/she is doing – for example, travelling, walking or waiting – then adjusts ambient sound settings. The earbuds come with an instant pause and play feature. If the user takes the earbuds out of the ear, the music stops.
The new device is said to have a battery life of up to 32-hour with Noise Cancellation. On a full charge, the earbuds offer 8 hours of power, and the handy charging case provides a further 16 hours to keep you going throughout the day. It also offers quick charge support and can deliver 60 minutes of playtime with 5-minute quick charge. It supports wireless charging as well.
Sony WF-1000XM4 comes with an IPX4 water resistance rating and is resistant to splashes and sweat. The WF-1000XM4 earbuds support Google’s Fast Pair feature as well.
