PS VR2 Specs & Features
The Sony PS VR2 will come with a 4000×2040 OLED display with a 90/120Hz refresh rate that will give smooth navigation while gaming. It will have a 110-degree FOV along with a 1080p cinematic mode that will stream the PS5 user interface and all non-VR games onto a virtual screen, running at 2Hz or 60Hz.
Sony promises that the users will be able to see their surroundings, even while wearing it. The see-through view can be toggled on and off via the function button on the headset or the Card in the UI’s control center. Cameras have been embedded on the visor, that will allow the players to navigate their way in real-life and locate their PS VR2 sense controller while wearing the headset.
There is a Broadcast Mode as well, which will allow you to stream your gameplay on platforms such as Twitter/YouTube, while connected to the PlayStation 5 HD Camera. The PS VR2 comes with 4 integrated cameras that track your hand and controller movement. Any head or tilt-shift motion will be detected as well and instantly reflected onto your character in-game. There is a sensory feature inside that will vibrate to add an intelligent tactile element.
The new controllers on the PS VR2 will see a massive change in design, as they will get rid of the light-up microphone form for a rounded, orb-like structure. They are being called Sense Controllers and they have a similar design to the more typical VR controllers. These come with haptic feedback that emulates the sensor of touch via intelligent vibrations, Adaptive triggers, enhanced controls, and finger touch detection.

PlayStation has also confirmed a line-up of games at the launch of PS VR2. Developed by Guerilla Games, the title was called Horizon Call of the Mountain. It is being built exclusively for PS VR2. Resident Evil Village and No Man’s Sky are also a part of the catalog.
