Spider-Man 2 Pops Up on Sony PlayStation Store; May Hint at an Upcoming Trailer Reveal After a Tease

A game that everybody is waiting to hear about since the PlayStation Showcase back in 2021. Yes, we are talking about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, where Peter Parker and Miles Morales join forces to take down one of the biggest threats they have ever faced. The approaching threat is none other than everybody’s favourite villain from the franchise, Venom.

So for the tease, if players head towards the PlayStation Store right now, and search for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, they will find a dedicated page for it. Although the page does not provide much information, other than it has been announced, it is being developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe and the release date is yet to be determined.

That is all we have received from the dedicated page for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but many believe that this tease could mean more than we think. Players are assuming that as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has now arrived on the PlayStation Store, it is only a matter of time now for the developers to release a new trailer or some more information about the game. Until now, the only piece of information we have is the trailer that release way back in 2021.

Well this is our assumption, but a trailer could be possible in the coming weeks as a trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is scheduled for December 13, 2022. Also, we didn’t receive any information about the upcoming game during The Game Awards 2022, so it’s high time the developers release something, if they wish to stand by the 2023 release date.

On top of that, James Stevenson, the community director at Insomniac Games has been tweeting a lot about Spider-Man 2 recently, so a new trailer seems imminent.
