Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: How Many Mid and Post-Credit Scenes Does the Film Have?

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has finally made it into theatres following a long wait for fans of the iconic Marvel character. The new film expands upon the multiverse of Spidey characters shown in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Alongside the returning Spideys, the film has plenty of new ones such as Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099, Pavitr Prabhakar aka Spider-Man: India, and more.

The film has a runtime of 136 minutes, making it one of the longest animated films to come out in recent years. Plus, with a rich visual and animation styles, every frame of the film can be considered a painting of its own, making it one of the most enthralling films of 2023.

In our IGN 10/10 review, we talked about the film’s impressive story, which spins a Web of Destiny for the Spider-People of the multiverses. Even with the plethora of new characters, the focus remains on Miles Morales and his relationship with other characters including his parents, and the Spirder-People.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – Are there any mid-credit and post-credit scenes?

Just like every comic-book film out there, fans expect to see an inkling of teasing regarding the future of the franchise with a mid or post-credits scene. With Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse expected to have a sequel next year in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, many believe that the third film will be teased with a scene once the credits roll. Looking back, the 2018 film also had a post-credits scene showcasing Spider-Man 2099 following the events that took place in Brooklyn.

However, that’s not the case with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The film does not have any post or mid-credits scene.

With the film ending on a cliffhanger, it’s understandable to see why the makers have avoided using any more scenes to tease the future. In the end, fans will have to wait for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with the hopes of seeing the events that unfold after the extraordinary ending.
