Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Reveals Character Posters for The Spot, Spider-Cat and More

With just a few weeks to go before Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’s June 2 release date, Sony has shared ten new character posters for the Spidey sequel.

The new posters show off a ton of the alternate universe Spider-People Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy will encounter in the Multiverse. In addition to Miles and Gwen, the new posters feature Jessica Drew, Miguel O’Hara, Pavitr Prabhakar, The Spot, Ben Reilly, Hobie Brown’s Spider-Punk, Spider-Cat, and the return of Peter B. Parker. You can check them out for yourself in the gallery below.

We got a look at some of these Spider-People — including Oscar Isaac’s Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099 — in the latest trailer for Across the Spider-Verse. There will be hundreds more Spideys littered throughout the movie, which is sure to delight longtime Spider-Man comic readers.

Across the Spider-Verse is setting up to be bigger and crazier than its predecessor, 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Across the Spider-Verse will introduce a ton of new webslingers, and it will also reportedly clock in as the longest animated film ever from a major Hollywood studio. The movie is also looking to “wow” audiences with six major art styles.

The sequel has a lot to live up to, as we awarded the original Spider-Verse a 9/10, saying, “Miles Morales’ journey from zero to hero is brought to life with jaw-dropping animation, whimsical callbacks to previous Spider-Man media, and memorable side characters from the multiverse.”
