Since rebranding from Tuti Patriots, Salem Spartans had a disappointing campaign in the last 2 editions where they finished at the bottom half of the standings. They revamped their side completely for this edition and looking forward to putting up a good show. They let go of their key players Daryl Ferrario and H Gopinath. They signed Abhishek Tanwar and Kaushik Gandhi who had put up an excellent show for their respective sides in the previous edition.
