Star Wars Brotherhood Novel Creator Points at the Possibility of Two More Jedi Surviving Order 66

It’s been less than a week since Star Wars Celebration, which gave us a couple of sneak peaks of the up-and-coming projects from the franchise. It’s time now to go back to trivia, as we wonder what other movies and shows might be coming our way. The latest probably is a hint dropped by Mike Chen, the creator of the Star Wars: Brotherhood comics.

In a Twitter post, he hinted at the presence of two more Jedis, who might have survived Order 66. As fans, we are now wondering if we’ll get to see more of them on the screen any time soon. Here’s all you need to know about these developments.

Two Jedi in training during Order 66 alive in Sequel Era?

In a Twitter post from March 9th, Mike Chen highlighted how the 4th issue of the Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories recently mentioned a “Mill” and “Vivert.” In the strip that Chen uploaded, we can see the Twi’lek bounty hunter, Mwarr Ja’Randa taking Rey and Chewbacca captive. Mwarr Ja’Randa retorts that Mill and Vivert are two bounty hunters, with whom they have a “friendly wager” regarding their bounty counts.

Chen writes, “Is that OUR Mill and her best bud lingering around Rey’s time?” For context, Mill and Vivert were younglings who appeared in Brotherhood, training with the Jedi order when Order 66 was decreed. Their status after the Jedi Purge is unknown, but Chen explains in a series of tweets following the expose, that after Order 66 hit, he can see them “finding each other in the aftermath and hiding, finding some way to survive.”

Therefore, it is thus probable that they eventually become “known as bounty hunters like in this comic”. Chen, however, further added that “being Jedi at heart, that gig is really just a cover to do good. With Mill’s empathic abilities and medical training, I’m picturing a lot of chaotic-good actions.”.

Will we get to Mill and Vivert in future Sequel Era movies?

While there is no confirmation yet if this Mill and Vivert really are the Jedi younglings who were training to be Padawans, but as Chen puts it, “there aren’t too many Mill/Vivert pairs in the galaxy. So is it them?” And now we can’t help but wonder if we’ll get to see more of Mill and Vivert in the sequels alongside Rey Skywalker, and this, if there is any chance for the Jedi order to be rebuilt.
