Star Wars Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition is coming to PS VR2 – Times of India

Star Wars Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition is now going to launch on PS VR2 in 2023, Sony announced in its State of Play event. The game was made available on Oculus Quest/Meta Quest 2 previously.
In Star Wars Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition, you will start your journey as a droid repair technician and even if this is not a job that involves making tough decisions as a Jedi Council member or battling the Sith with lightsabers, the story would whisk you away for an adventure nonetheless when the Guavian Death Gang comes after you. Fleeing from them, you crash land on the planet Batuu and the adventures begin.
Meet fan-favourite characters
In your Star Wars adventure, you will be joined by fan-favourite characters like R2-D2, C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), Hondo Ohnaka (Jim Cummings) and even Jedi Master Yoda (Frank Oz). Surely, the old master will assist you with some timeless advice? There will be new characters like barkeep Seezelslak (Bobby Moynihan), treasure hunter Lens Kamo (Karla Crome) and Guavian Death Gang leader Tara Rashin (Debra Wilson).
The game lets you live out the story of the Padawan-turned-Jedi Ady Sun’Zee (Ellie Araiza) in “The Temple of Darkness” and “The Sacred Garden.” You will also get an idea about the life of a droid when you take up a bounty as the class four assassin droid IG-88 (Rhys Darby) in “The Bounty of Boggs Triff.”
“The high-fidelity visual experience will include headset-based controller tracking and eye tracking ensuring that your movements and direction you look at are reflected as you play. The audio and haptics also play a major role in the experience, where you’ll be able to hear the soundscape surround you with rich 3D audio and feel even the smallest detail with the haptics built into the PS VR2 Sense controller and headset. Combining all the sensory features that the PS VR2 has to offer, the experience will make you feel as though you are living within the Star Wars galaxy”, promised Sony in a PlayStation blogpost.
