Starfield, Bethesda’s space-exploration-based RPG, enters its early access stage tomorrow and fans cannot contain their excitement. To add to this hype, the Starfield X account (formerly Twitter) has posted a unique quest for fans across the entire globe to embark upon.
Starfield posted that they have hidden a total of “1,001 unique and numbered ‘Windows to the Worlds’” across the entire earth. Through these windows, players will be able to catch “a glimpse into the universe of Starfield.” All players need to do is find one of these windows, capture a photo and upload it to social media with the #ExploreStarfield. There is also a dedicated Discord group for finding these numbered Windows to the Worlds.
Starfield fan blocked from popular subreddit for tattling
Many Starfield fans would know that a bunch of leaks for the game started surfacing online in recent times. Players also spotted a person who had stolen Starfield physical copies and was selling them online on the popular subreddit, r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. Now, an interesting development in this news has been spotted by Kotaku.
According to the report, the player who stole the Starfield copies was reported to the police by a Reddit user, and the user then bragged about it on the game’s subreddit. This led to him being banned from the community, and the admins of the subreddit stated they weren’t “interested in having someone who takes action against the community like that.” They added that bragging about is what led to him being banned, and might unban him at some point in the future, but at the moment “he’s behind the bars of the internet.”
The banned user also approached Kotaku and shared their side of the story, calling themselves the “pariah of that subreddit,” and “theft” is where they draw the line.
