Starfield: Players Build Futurama’s Planet Express Ship, Mandalorian’s Razor Crest, and More

It’s been a little above a week since Starfield launched in Early Access on September 1st, with the full release on September 6. The hype has been high for Bethesda’s first IP in 25 years, and the massive open world the RPG offered in space exploration. Players have been going to town with the game this past week, taking full advantage of what it has to offer, and creating mods to enhance the experience even further. One such player even recreated Futurama’s Planet Express Ship in the game.

A Reddit user with username SP7R has posted a video demonstrating how to build the Planet Express ship to perfection. While Starfield’s ship builder has been widely appreciated, SP7R mentions that the ship they built used a modded vendor with all the ship parts. Building it from scratch may not be impossible but will be much more intensive than what we can see in the tutorial.

Other than the Planet Express Ship, plenty of Star Wars fans too have been building their dream ships in Starfield. This includes Han Solo’s Millenium Falcon, and The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest. A player also recreated the Black Pearl from The Pirates of the Caribbean in Starfield, only this time, the ship belonged to the ‘space pirates’. The Magic School Bus too has been built inside Starfield by a player.

Moving on, if you’re thinking of building something more durable and helpful in combat, players have come up with innovative solutions for that too. There’s a ship build shared by Redditor Solace_of_the_Thomas that’s immune to frontal damage as can be seen in the video shared with the post. There’s another ship that has been built using AI targeting, that is practically unbeatable because of its unique and innovative structural build.

Another modder has managed to keep up with the trends, by building Thomas the Tank Engine in the game. The mod which is available on NexusMods, retextures Vasco (a robot character in Starfield) with the face of Thomas The Tank Engine. It has been created by modder “Bulkwarkhd”.
