Season 4 of Succession has finally arrived, with the Roy family at the center of it all, as power struggles determine new dynamics between different characters.

Succession returns with a high-stake Season 4

The series, featuring a star cast of actors like Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, and more, has a fine blend of comedy and drama, with characters vying for a higher spot in the pecking order of the media conglomerate, Waystar Royco.

The premiere has garnered rave reviews from critics, with IGN giving a 10/10 review for its first four episodes. Fans are excited to see what’s in store for the show’s future. However, Indian viewers might want to brace for some tough news, as the series won’t be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Succession Season 4 currently won’t be streaming in India

Following the episode’s release, many took to Disney+ Hotstar, which has been the home of HBO content in India. However, they soon received disappointing news, as the platform won’t feature any new episodes of the show.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Disney+ Hotstar won’t have any HBO content from March 31. This includes various prestige TV shows like Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, The Wire, and more. Additionally, it won’t feature any upcoming releases, such as Season 4 of Succession and Barry.

It remains to be seen what the implications will be for Disney+ Hotstar, following the loss of the upcoming edition of the IPL and now HBO content.

When it comes to the future of Succession in India, HBO has yet to name a streaming platform to host its content in India. Although, many have theorised that it could be Amazon Prime Video. IGN India had previously contacted WarnerMedia and HBO Max about this matter. However, we never received a response.

In the end, Indian viewers will just have to wait and be optimistic about the return of HBO content in India, including Season 4 of Succession.
