Despite launching in 2017, Super Mario Odyssey doesn’t seem to go on sale very often for more than 10 bucks off. Even during big shopping holidays, it’s not uncommon for the game to see only slight discounts. That’s not the case today, however, as Walmart is offering Super Mario Odyssey for the shockingly great price of $37.67 (down from $60).
This deal only applies to the physical version of the game–opting for a digital copy still costs $60. However, most locations should be eligible for free in-store pick and free shipping, making it easy to get the game into your hands as fast as possible. And considering this is one of the best prices we’ve seen in several months, it’s definitely worth a closer look.
Super Mario Odyssey isn’t the only great Mario game on sale today, as both New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury are also seeing nice price cuts. If you’re looking for a great 2D platformer, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is a great option now that it’s down to just $44. And if you’re more interested in a bit of 3D platforming (and already own Odyssey), then Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a solid choice at $50.
As was the case with Super Mario Odyssey, these two deals only apply to physical copies but are eligible for free shipping or in-store pickup. We’re not sure how long these deals will stick around, so head over to Walmart and cash in while you can.
