Sushil Kumar case – Yogeshwar Dutt Speaks Out: Yogeshwar Dutt is really sad and hurt. Sad seeing the way entire Sushil Kumar & murder case has unfolded. The fellow Olympic medallist Yogeshwar feels that his good friend has been misguided by few of his friend and has termed the entire episode very unfortunate for the sport of wrestling in India.
“Those who surrounded him created this atmosphere. In the beginning, he should have joined the investigation, but he was made to flee by his close friends who have misguided him,” Dutt told Republic TV.
“I don’t know more, but this is a sad incident from both sides. Sagar was a wrestler and Sushil is pride of the country. This incident is sad for his wrestling career,” he added.

Dutt further said that Sushil for him was a gentleman. He said, some facts about the case may be true but murder charges & Sushil’s alleged connections with Kala Jathedi and Neeraj Bawana type of gangsters is hard to believe.
“We will welcome the court’s decision. There are few facts which are true rest are false,” he stated further.
Sushil Kumar case Latest Updates- What we know so far?
Delhi Police has alleged that Sushil Kumar and his aides are responsible of the killing of 23-year-old fellow national wrestler Sagar Dhankar.
The 38-year-old wrestler, a prime suspect in the Sagar Dankar’s murder case, and his associate Ajay Bakkarwala were arrested by a team of Delhi Police special cell on May 23 in the Mundka area of the national capital. A non-bailable warrant was issued against Kumar and others in the case.
As many as 9 arrests have been made in the case including Sushil and police is further trying to nab the remaining perpetrators.
According to the Police, Kumar had been on the run trying to evade his arrest. He had crossed the borders of as many as seven states and union territories. He also constantly changed his SIM cards in an effort to avoid arrest.

He was taken into custody till May 29 which was later extended to June 3.
Meanwhile, currently Sushil Kumar has been kept in Mandoli’s jail number 15 and is not allowed to meet anyone. The development comes after a Delhi court on Wednesday remanded wrestler Sushil Kumar to judicial custody for 14 days and rejected the plea by the Delhi Police seeking an extension of his police custody.
Notably, Sushil Kumar is India’s most decorated wrestler with 2 Olympic medals, 3 medals in Commonwealth games, 4 Asian Championship medals, one world championship gold, 1 bronze in Asian Games to his name.
