“Take Note”: Apple CEO Tim Cook teases iPad Pro, may come with M2 silicon – Times of India

Apple launched the iPhone 14 series and the newest lineup of Apple Watch models at an event last month. It was anticipated that the Cupertino-based company would also reveal the next generation of iPad Pro models. However, this did not happen and subsequent reports suggested that the new Apple tablets will debut at an event in October. Apple CEO Tim Cook has now teased the launch of new iPads Pro models, which might come with the company’s M2 silicon.
M2-powered iPad Pro launch
Cook tweeted a small clip on Twitter allegedly teasing the new iPad Pro model. The video suggests some features that the iPad Pro is likely to have. These features have been teased by various doodles.
The video ends with the message “Take Note” and an Apple Pencil underlines that message. It could mean that the iPhone maker could also launch a new Apple Pencil. The teaser also includes a doodle of the rear dual-camera setup of the iPad Pro with a LiDAR sensor and an LED flash.
Furthermore, there won’t be any event and Apple will unveil the iPad Pro in a soft launch. If reports are to be believed, the company will launch two iPad Pro models along with an entry-level model which will be the 10th-generation iPad.

iPad Pro specifications (rumoured)
iPad Pro with an M2 chip is rumoured to launch in two variants: one with an 11-inch display and the other with a 12.9-inch panel. The 12.9-inch model is expected to get a mini-LED display and the 11-inch model could feature Apple’s Liquid Retina IPS LCD. For photography, both models are expected to get two 12MP cameras (wide + ultrawide), a quad-speaker setup with five studio-quality microphones and it may run iPadOS 16.1.
iPad 10th generation specifications (rumoured)
Reports claim that the iPad will feature a 10.5-inch display and will be powered by the A14 Bionic chip. It may get a single rear camera inside the pill-shaped module and run iPadOS 16.1.
