Tate casts doubts over Paul fight with latest negotiation update
Andrew Tate doesn’t believe his proposed influencer super fight with Jake Paul will happen. The controversial entrepreneur disclosed that there have been a lot of negotiations behind the scenes but that it is not a ‘simple process’ to get the blockbuster showdown over the line.
Tate and Paul announced that they were negotiating a fight with each other last month. The Problem Child uploaded a video of both men facing off at a gym in Dubai with the caption “negotiations” which sent the internet into a frenzy.
This was then followed up by a statement from Tate’s representatives, reading: “Negotiations have begun between the two parties, it’s a fight the fans have been asking for and it’s an event the world will remember.”
However, since then, talk has gone quiet on the fight and now Tate has confirmed that discussions are stalling.
“Nothing is more important to Logan Paul than being liked and being talked about. He fears and walks away from any real challenge and continues to play fight in the WWE,” said Tate in a statement sent out by his publicist.
“Logan keeps using my name for headlines to try and further his relevancy; however, he knows that my skills and expertise in any ring are unmatched by him. His brother, Jake, even though we haven’t always seen eye to eye, has been changing the boxing industry for the better. Better pay, better benefits, more awareness for women in the sport and he puts in the work. He has a purpose which he is fulfilling. Logan Paul has no purpose.
“I have already contacted and confirmed this to a mutual contact. It is time for Logan to pay the price. I will not allow him to earn more money than me for his destruction, as a clown like him, with a mediocre online income, would happily sacrifice his pride for money.
“I promised I would fight him for free, and I meant it. He can fly to Romania and knock on my door any day of the week. When I said fight, I didn’t mean sport. If he recovers, he can continue to live in his brother’s shadow where he belongs.”
