The Tecno Phantom V Fold smartphone is priced at Rs 89,999 for the base model and Rs 99,999 for the top-tier variant. It is scheduled to go on an early bird sale from April 12th onwards on Amazon India. During this sale, the smartphone will be available at an offer price of Rs 77,777 on Amazon India.

This is Tecno’s first foldable phone and while its design is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold4, its pricing puts the device in another category of foldable phones. The Tecno Phantom V Fold can be pitted against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Oppo Find N2 Flip.

Tecno Phantom V Fold design

The Tecno Phantom V Fold has a book-like design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. It comes in two colour options: Black and White. The smartphone is made with aerospace material and is claimed to have been tested for over 200,000 folds.

Tecno Phantom V Fold specifications

The Tecno Phantom V Fold features a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED outer display with a dual 10Hz-120Hz refresh rate. The foldable phone opens up to a bigger 7.65-inch 2K AMOLED display. You also get dual-high brightness and dual-high colour accuracy with the main display of the device.

In terms of optics, there’s a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP portrait lens. For selfies, you get two cameras; one is a 32MP camera that’s located on the outer display and a 16MP camera on the main display of the device.

Powering the Tecno Phantom V Fold is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ 5G chipset. It comes with 12GB of RAM and two storage options of 256GB and 512GB. On the software front, the Tecno Phantom V Fold runs a custom HiOS based on Android 13. The OS has been customized for the foldable design.
