Tecno Spark 8T with Helio G35 SoC, 5000mAh battery to launch in India on this date – Times of India

Last week, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Tecno officially teased the India launch of Tecno Spark 8T smartphone. Now, a dedicated page for the smartphone on Amazon reveals that the device will be launched in India on December 15. The company has already unveiled the Tecno Spark 8 and Tecno Spark 8 Pro smartphones this year in September and November respectively.
The Amazon product page has also revealed key specs and design of the upcoming smartphone. The Tecno Spark 8T will sport a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with 1080 x 2408 resolution and 500 nits of peak brightness. The display will also have a water drop style notch. Under the hood, it will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. When it comes to camera, the smartphone will have an AI dual rear camera setup with 50MP primary lens. For selfies and video calls, the devices will have a 8MP selfie camera at the front.
The device will be backed by a 5000mAh battery that is claimed to have 38 days standby time, 40 hours calling time and 122 hours of music playback. The device will be available in four colour options – Atlantic Blue, Turquoise Cyan, Cocoa Gold and Iris Purple. The smartphone will also sport a fingerprint scanner.
To recall, Tecno Spark 8 sports a 6.56-inch screen and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor. It features a AI-powered dual-camera setup in the rear with a 16MP primary sensor and an 8MP front camera sensor. This device is also available in 2GB and 3GB RAM variants. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that claims to offer a standby time of up to 65 days and it also supports various Indian languages that allow users to interact in their own language.
