Tedesco, Machibroda voted Mid-South Conference Baseball Players of the Week

Nolan Machibroda were named Mid-South Conference Baseball Players of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. MSC Baseball Player of the Week
Nolan Machibroda – Cumberland (Tenn.) – Sr. – IF – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
- Benner batted .643 (9-for-14) with three home runs, 12 RBIs and nine runs scored in four games for the Phoenix
- The senior singled twice and drove in three runs at Indiana Southeast
- He posted three hits with a two-run homer, two walks and three runs scored in the first of a three-game series at Tennessee Southern
- The infielder collected two hits with a sacrifice fly, a three-run home run and three runs scored in the second contest versus the Firehawks
- In the series finale Machibroda added an RBI single, a two-run homer and three more runs scored
- This marks the third weekly honor of the season and third of his career for Machibroda
MSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Brady Tedesco – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Sr. – Eaton, Colo.
- Tedesco tossed 6.0 innings in the series opener versus Shawnee State (Ohio)
- The senior lefthander struck out a career-high 10 batters, allowing just one run on two hits
- He did not walk a batter and retired the last eight hitters he faced
- This marks the first weekly honor of the season and first of his career for Tedesco
