Ten Hag lifts lid on ‘broken’ Man Utd dressing room after FA Cup final loss
Ten Hag has been praised for guiding United to a top-four finish, as well as ending the club’s six-year wait for silverware when clinching the Carabao Cup in February with a 2-0 win over Newcastle.
Winning the FA Cup against their city rivals would have been the icing on the cake for the Dutchman in his first season in England, as well as protecting their status as the Premier League’s only Treble winners.
But Ten Hag believes his side will learn from their defeat and come back stronger in 2023-24: “We know we have a way to go but this will make us better. It was a test for us, we didn’t succeed but we can take a lot of positives into next season.”
