Ten Hag says he will ‘deal’ with Ronaldo after Man Utd beat Tottenham

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has opened up on Cristiano Ronaldo’s late strop in the club’s 2-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday night. Goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes gave the Red Devils all three points. But their No 7 was far from happy and stormed down the tunnel in the closing stages of the contest.

Manchester United were too good for Tottenham in their Premier League clash on Wednesday.

Fred opened the scoring shortly after the interval, with the Brazil international’s deflected strike trickling past Hugo Lloris and into the net.

And Fernandes then made the result safe towards the end, with the Portugal international scoring a stunner to get the home crowd going.

One person who missed the final moments of the contest, however, was Ronaldo.

The veteran stormed down the tunnel after being snubbed by Ten Hag, who chose to introduce Antony Elanga instead.
